1. About Learning Portuguese

Learning Portuguese is an educational project created by Daniel Cardoso to help English speakers learn European Portuguese through structured lessons, stories, animated content, books, practice exercises, music, resources, and private lesson options.

2. Educational purpose

The content is provided for educational and informational purposes. I aim to make the material accurate, useful, and beginner-friendly, but I cannot guarantee that every explanation, translation, exercise, or learning result will be perfect or suitable for every learner.

3. Accounts

Some features may require an account, including saving progress, accessing membership areas, using account-based features, or connecting future premium learning tools. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens through your account.

4. Free and beta features

Some features, including the interactive practice system, learning game, music page, or other tools, may be free, experimental, or in beta. These features may change, expand, become paid, be limited, or be removed in the future.

5. Memberships and subscriptions

Learning Portuguese may offer monthly or yearly memberships. Memberships may provide access to current or future premium learning areas, downloadable materials, music downloads, advanced practice, courses, or other member-only features as they are developed.

Subscriptions are recurring unless cancelled. The available price, renewal period, included features, and cancellation options will be shown before checkout. By subscribing, you agree that the subscription is linked to the email address and account used for Learning Portuguese.

6. Payments, renewals, and cancellations

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe, or through platform payment systems where required. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by this website.

You are responsible for cancelling a subscription before renewal if you do not want to continue. Cancellation stops future renewals but may not automatically refund past payments unless required by law or stated by the payment provider.

7. Refunds

Refund handling may depend on the product, platform, payment provider, and applicable law. If you believe a payment was made in error or you need help with a subscription, contact me as soon as possible.

8. Books and digital products

Books, digital downloads, or related products may be sold directly or through external platforms such as Amazon, Google Play Books, Gumroad, Stripe, or other providers. Purchases, delivery, refunds, and technical access may be subject to the terms of the platform used.

9. Music, downloads, and learning materials

Songs, lyrics, translations, images, downloads, and learning materials are provided for personal learning use. Unless clearly stated otherwise, you may not redistribute, resell, re-upload, or use these materials commercially without permission.

10. Private lessons

Private lessons may be booked through external platforms such as Classgap. Booking, payment, cancellation, rescheduling, refund rules, and platform requirements are handled according to the external platform's own terms.

11. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, design, lessons, exercises, characters, images, music, lyrics, translations, videos, branding, and learning materials on this website are owned by or licensed to Daniel Cardoso / Learning Portuguese.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, redistribute, sell, scrape, or republish this content without permission, except where allowed by law or clearly offered as a download for personal use.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to break or bypass access controls, interfere with security, upload harmful content, abuse accounts, or use the service in a way that damages Learning Portuguese or other users.
